So many gluten free cereals, so little time!=) If you love cereal, like I love cereal, this is good news! But buyer beware…just because a cereal is made from corn or rice, doesn’t mean it’s gluten free. For instance, Kellogg’s just came out with a gluten free version of their Rice Krispies cereal. Finally, I can start my morning with Snap, Crackle and Pop again. Plus, I can also enjoy their yummy Rice Krispy treats, as long I make them with gluten free marshmallows.
If you’re a kid at heart, and you prefer eating chocolaty or sugary cereal for breakfast, try gluten free Cocoa Pebbles, Fruity Pebbles or Marshmallow Pebbles by Post!
But wait! There’s more! If you haven’t seen the TV commercial yet, General Mills Chex brand has a whole variety of gluten free cereals, including Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Chocolate Chex, Cinnamon Chex and my personal favorite, Honey Nut Chex! Another nice benefit of gluten free Chex cereal is all the quick and easy recipes you can make with it, including gluten free Chex Snack Mix. So go ahead and pour yourself a bowl of gluten free cereal for breakfast or get a little crazy and combine all the flavors into one!=)
